waiting to die for the 17th time..

I am so content i managed to fix my pro tools... a whole 3 months of no music making and now i'm bursting a little bit. a soon to pop balloon... i'm looking forward to doing some new stuff.

I think the lack of music making equipment has fucked me over really... the last three months I have seemed to replaced music with film, watching 4 movies a week at least, resulting in a preference for the indoors rather than enjoying what little sun we have managed to have recently. And I can't seem to stop thinking about the wrestler and mickey rourke's crumbling face.
Oh New Jersey, I like how boring and low key you are, your suburban houses and lack of credibility. I could have been a Jersey girl. A lodge in Hackensack in the 60s would have been ideal. Did NJ really used to smell like shit?
Run down places tend to get me the most. Almost like Sheffield and Manchester. Grey. An aura of joy division emitting every industrial concrete corner.

Oh and books. Books are good too... after 2 years of reading only about 6 books, I have managed to rediscover the old care I had for them.

I'm reading Auster because I got 5 of his books in an amnesty book shop in hammersmith for £8. I don't care about you hip young Auster readers oh no. fuck you.
I read Thomas Hardy's Jude the Obscure in between Oracle night and the Brooklyn Follies so I think I get some sort of credit.
